6NTHG Intelligent Arc Protection Device

The 6NTHG-C Arc Protection Acquisition Unit provides 8 channels of arc acquisition inputs and 8 channels of relay outputs, which are in one-to-one correspondence with the input signals to achieve fault hard positioning function.

The master unit and acquisition units are separate. The master unit is installed in the incoming line cabinet, while the acquisition units are distributed and installed in feeder cabinets.

Between the master unit and acquisition units, arc signals are transmitted via optical fibers, and data communication is realized through serial ports.

The master unit supports dual-port communication mode, featuring multiple interface types such as RS485 and Ethernet ports, and is compatible with various communication protocols including Profibus, ModBus RTU, CAN, IEC 103 and IEC 104.

The master unit supports two rated input current specifications: 1A or 5A.

The 6NTHG-K Arc Protection Master Unit is the core component of the arc protection system. It is responsible for the acquisition, measurement, calculation and logical judgment of input quantities, implementing various protection logics of the system, communicating with the substation monitoring system, and performing self-check and other auxiliary functions.

The 6NTHG-C Arc Acquisition Unit, as the acquisition component of the arc protection system, is equipped with 8 channels of arc acquisition inputs and 8 channels of outputs. It collects arc signals via probes and transmits the signals to the master unit through optical fibers, with one communication port for data transmission with the master unit. When multiple acquisition units are deployed, the arc signals are transmitted between them in a serial manner and finally sent to the master unit.
